Dieselpoint Search, unlike most full-text search engines, allows users to search, view, and manipulate document attributes and metadata. A portal based on Dieselpoint search can:
- Search, sort, and filter based on any document attribute (for example, suggest documents by author, or show a list of all authors);
- Show documents by category, including hits by category and related categories;
- Take advantage of linguistic processing features, including misspelling correction, word stems, and thesaurus;
